Nassguard supplies the Extech 445703 Big Digit Hygro-Thermometer across Riyadh, Dammam, Jubail, Jeddah and Al Khobar. With maximum/minimum memory, selectable temperature units and wall or tabletop placement, it suits facilities that need a straightforward local display of environmental conditions.

What Is the Extech 445703 Big Digit Hygro-Thermometer?

The Extech 445703 is a digital instrument that measures ambient air temperature and relative humidity. It displays both readings simultaneously, so users can check room conditions without switching between measurement screens.

Its temperature range covers −10°C to 60°C, while its humidity range extends from 10% to 99% RH. The MAX/MIN memory stores the highest and lowest measurements recorded since the last reset.

For example, a facilities supervisor can reset the memory at the start of a monitoring period, then review the extremes later. This helps identify changes that a single spot reading could miss. The memory stores extremes rather than a time-stamped measurement history.

Key Features of the Extech 445703

Applications of Hygro-Thermometers in Saudi

The Extech 445703 supports general environmental monitoring in locations where its measurement range and accuracy meet the task.

• Office monitoring in Riyadh: Check temperature and humidity when reviewing workplace comfort.
• Warehouse checks in Dammam: Observe ambient conditions around suitable stored materials.
• Workshop monitoring in Jubail: Keep environmental readings visible during daily operations.
• Facility management in Jeddah: Include room-condition checks in maintenance rounds.
• Retail premises in Al Khobar: Monitor conditions in showrooms, offices and stockrooms.
• Factory environments: Display local temperature and humidity in suitable indoor production areas.
• Greenhouses: Observe conditions that inform ventilation and environmental-control decisions.
• Schools and training rooms: Support routine room checks and practical demonstrations.

Positioning and Using the Hygro-Thermometer

Good placement helps the temperature and humidity readings represent the area you want to monitor.

• Choose a representative location: Position the unit where it reflects normal room conditions.
• Avoid direct sunlight: Solar heating can affect the displayed air temperature.
• Keep clear of local heat sources: Avoid placing it beside machinery, heaters or warm equipment.
• Consider ventilation: Do not place it directly in an air-conditioning discharge unless that airflow is the intended measurement.
• Allow readings to stabilise: Give the instrument time to adjust after moving it.
• Set the preferred units: Select Celsius or Fahrenheit using the rear control.
• Reset memory deliberately: Clear MAX/MIN readings when beginning a new monitoring period.
• Record inspection details: Note the location, date and readings when maintaining environmental records.

Inspection, Maintenance and Care

Simple checks help keep the Extech hygro-thermometer ready for daily use.

• Inspect the housing and display for damage.
• Keep sensor openings unobstructed so room air can reach the sensing area.
• Protect the instrument from splashes and condensation.
• Replace batteries when the low-battery flag appears, observing the correct polarity.
• Check the wall mounting or stand to prevent accidental falls.
• Arrange periodic accuracy verification according to your quality procedures.
• Review placement after room changes, especially when moving ventilation outlets or heat-generating equipment.
